Keep Flying Rock Band

Keep Flying rock band, based in New York City since 2016, quickly made their mark by combining punk, pop, and hardcore with vibrant horn sections. Their sound taps into high-energy anthems layered with saxophone and trombone, carving a unique niche in the pop‑punk scene.

The lineup Henry Menzel (vocals/guitar), Rick Coates (trombone), Peter Vriones (drums), John Ryan (sax/vocals), Charlie Bruno (guitar/vocals), and Chuck Bernard (bass/vocals) brings a dynamic on-stage presence. Their eclectic instrumentation instantly sets them apart at venues and festival.

They debuted with the EP Follow Your Nightmares (May 23, 2016), showcasing their theatrical rock goals. Produced by Brett Romnes, the record introduced their blend of punk-driven vocals and brass accents, earning praise in the Northeast live circuit.

Their Walkabout EP (May 2017) built on that momentum. Produced at Nada Recording and continuing the band's DIY approach, it refined their songwriting and live-ready arrangements.

In November 2019, Keep Flying released the 7″ single Unbreakable, recorded with Nik Bruzzese and Ace Enders. The track highlighted their hard-hitting emotional lyricism with explosive brass crescendos.

December 2020 saw their EP Survival, produced by Arthur Enders and Nik Bruzzese, expand their sonic palette with layered horns, flute, and strings pushing their music beyond conventional punk.

Their latest album, Time & Tide (April 24, 2025, via Smartpunk Records), captures a matured version of their sound. With lyrical focus on mental health and fleeting joy, the LP features standout horn anthems and polished production.

Keep Flying’s live shows are renowned for their emotional intensity and physicality. MusicSceneMedia praised their Jacksonville performance as the “most energized live performance I’ve experienced in a long time,” citing their blend of anthemic horns and crowd connection.

They’ve toured extensively across the U.S., sharing stages with The Bouncing Souls, Reel Big Fish, and Less Than Jake, and have appeared on Vans Warped Tour, SXSW, The FEST, and more solidifying their reputation for relentless work ethic and diverse appeal.
