Silly Goose Rap Rock Band

Atlanta’s Nu-Metal Revival Powerhouse

Silly Goose rap rock band is a high-energy musical act hailing from Atlanta, founded by longtime friends Jackson Foster and Alan Benikhis, who bonded over late‑’90s rap rock and nu-metal influences such as Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, and Gojira.
The duo expanded their lineup with Ian Binion on lead guitar/vocals and Yalli Alvarez on bass/vocals. Together, they amplify Silly Goose’s raw, riff‑driven sound with dynamic vocal interplay and genre-blending energy that defines the Silly Goose rap rock band identity.
Their first EP, The Goose Is Out Of The Bag, was recorded during their high school years, setting the tone for a playful yet ferocious musical output. Its unapologetically heavy approach laid the groundwork for their cult appeal.
Their debut album, The Streets Heard It First, marks a significant progression—showcasing hard-hitting riffs, anthem-style choruses, and independent spirit. It reflects their DIY ethos as they continue to distribute music on their own terms.
In 2024, Silly Goose released the Bad Behavior EP via Blue Grape Music. Featuring tracks like “King of the Hill” and “Tsunami,” the release highlights their chaotic, genre-bending style and marked a milestone as their first under a label.
What truly separates the Silly Goose rap rock band is their guerrilla live shows. Starting with a mobile trailer-stage, they performed surprise sets in parking lots and gas stations after major concerts, building a robust grassroots fanbase.
Their notoriety peaked at the 2022 DWP Inkarceration Festival, where they famously crashed the event in a parking lot. Festival organizer Danny Wimmer was so impressed he officially added them to the lineup for the next two days.
Since then, they've been featured on major festival bills like Dollar Wave Productions’ series and local venues such as Smith's Olde Bar and The Masquerade, consistently drawing energetic, devoted crowds.
Active on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, the band teases live shows and singles. Their Blue Grape Music profile highlights recent performances and mentions press coverage from Revolver, Stereogum, Metal Injection, NME, and Consequence.
Looking ahead, Silly Goose rap rock band is set to release new singles and continue their breakthrough trajectory, bringing raw nu-metal homage and community-focused energy to stages across the Southeast and beyond.
